Hey, what can I say? It's been a wild and woolly month. That being said, check out this months findings.
1st: Cannon River Winery - http://www.cannonriverwinery.com/
"Bootleggers Red" - 2009
Bootleggers Red is a dessert wine with notes of blackberries, blueberries, and a wonderful hint of nuts and chocolate. mmmmm
2nd: Joseph Victori Wines - http://www.jvwines.com/
"Sweet Bitch Merlot" - 2010
This Merlot is a sweet red wine but yet full bodied. It's sweetness is light and hints of raspberry, blackberry, and vanilla meld wonderfully. Sweet Bitch Merlot is a very soft wine and may be considered for one of your table wines.
3rd: Sonoma Valley Portworks - http://www.portworks.com/
"Deco" - 2010
Ok, you're gonna love the way SVP has their website set up! Next, you will enjoy Deco! An after dinner wine that blends ports of California and Australia. Deco has a great blend of chocolate gently running through it, making it a great aperitif. If you're not sure about a port, but are curious try this one.
It's Winter in Minnesota, Wine a little.

Christmas and New Years Cheers!!
Friends,
Opened two great bottles of wine over the holidays and want to let you know about them.
1st: Fieldstone Vineyards - www.fieldstonevineyards.com
"New Moon White" - 2008
A buttery white table wine by Fieldstone. A very light nose. Fairly buttery on the tongue, reminiscent of a Pinot. A light finish. Consider this for any white wine occasion and sharing with friends.
2nd: Alexis Bailly Vineyards - www.abvwines.com
"Ice Wine" - 2008
This was an exquisite wine by Alexis Bailly. A nicely aged nose. A full bodied wine with lots of
golden raisin flavor and hints of licorice. A very smooth finish. This wine deserves your attention and a
fire to be drank by.
Enjoy!
